Electric Outlets added in Portal Lane for Electric Vehicles

We have installed electric outlets for Electric Vehicles in the Portal Lane Lot. They are located in the front of the log next to the row of handicapped parking places. These outlets allow the electric vehicles to recharge their batteries while they are visiting Tlaquepaque.

Many of the benefits of Electric Vehicles are fairly obvious.

They have no tailpipe emissions, so they produce no air pollution at the point of use.
Since electricity is generated mostly from domestic energy sources, they also help reduce dependency of foreign oil.

And since utility companies are investing in renewable, zero emission energy, Electric Vehicles using grid electricity will have even less impact on air quality.

Electric Vehicles also use energy more efficiently than internal combustion engines (ICE), so they cost less in energy.

Please spread the word that these outlets are now available for electric vehicles.
